Adam Z. Hollerbach - USA
Grosse Pointe, MI

Adam Hollerbach grew up sailing in Detroit, Michigan, USA.  Coming from a very active sailing family, he began racing as a young kid, tagging along with his dad on local, Saturday races.  Bayview Yacht Club has been his home since he joined the junior sailing program at age 10.  In 1994, he won the Bemis Trophy - US Jr. Double Handed Nationals, held that year in Charleston, South Carolina.  The city made an impression on him, and a few years later he was admitted to the College of Charleston, where he had the opportunity to join one of the top ranked sailing teams in the country.  After a successful college sailing career including two Kennedy Cup wins and one Fowle Trophy, Adam moved back to Detroit where he has been involved in one-design racing since.

Adam began match racing in the late 90's as crew for his brother, Nathan.  The team enjoyed a good run over the next few years, including a Richardson Cup win in 2001.  In 2004 Adam entered his first match race event as a skipper.  Gradually improving his standings, his ISAF ranking reached 150 in the fall of 2007.

Grosse Pointe, MI

Chris began his sailing career at the age of 13 at the junior sailing program at Bayview Yacht Club in Detroit, Michigan. Through the program he sailed everything from Optimists and Flying Juniors to Club 420s. His love of match racing was born when he was 15 years of age and crewed on a boat competing for the Great Lakes Match Racing Championship. He began helming in 1998 while competing alongside his brother John and a group of young Detroit area sailors in various junior match racing venues. Chris took a short break from sailing while attending Purdue University from 2000-2004. A career in the marine industry has allowed his team to put together an aggressive racing schedule that has allowed the team ranking to steadily increase since 2006.
