Detroit Cup - Day three
Day Three started out great: southeast breeze 7-11 knots, stable enough to start on time and finish RR 2 and get into RR 3. But as a weather front approached to the west, the skies got dark, the wind went light, and the fleet headed back to the harbor for cover before the lightning and thunder descended on the Detroit River.
Aside from a few surprises, the winners remained winners (Price and Koo), but others are moving thru the ranks to try and fill the remaining two slots to get to the Semi-Finals in the next stage...these include Hollerbach, Hayes and Seago.
Racing resumes tomorrow at 10:00 EDT, stay tuned, and for complete scores visit www.detroitcup.com.
